Would You Like To Look For Buried Treasures?
I have talked about thrift shopping before, but this was literally like looking for buried treasure. I had the privilege of winning a thrifting experience from Houston Fashion Bloggers. I took my two daughters with me because they also love thrift shopping. This experience looked daunting at first glance with mounds and mounds of clothing donated from people around the city. ATRS Recycling were kind enough to prepare a huge pile of items they chose for us to look through; some of the items still had tags on them. Most of the clothing was women’s, but there were some men and children items as well. They also prepared for us a basket full of containers of jewelry and accessories. My girls and I took 2 hours taking on this huge endeavor, hoping something would catch our eyes.
I will say we were successful. We each found a couple of clothing items, as well as a few pieces of jewelry.
ATRS is moving into the retail thrifting area, but right now their focus is on sending materials around the world to populations in need of clothing. Thank you ATRS Recycling for the ultimate thrifting experience.
