FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC

I am a lover of music, particularly neo soul music. Neo soul is a new soul sound that blends R&B, hip hop, jazz, and conscious lyrics. I hosted a neo soul brunch one Sunday for the Neo Soul Music Lovers at Skol Bar & Grill. DJ Nimbus played the right neo soul mixes and artists for the event.

I chose to wear a Sade tee shirt that I purchased at one of her concerts years ago. I tied a knot in the back of the shirt to cinch my waistline. I combined it with a skirt I made. The skirt was a simple black knit skirt, and I placed antique lace over it, and accented it with wide lace trim. This look to me, is stylish, sexy, and perfect for a music event.

I cut the neckline and sleeves of the tee shirt to give it a looser fit.
