TIS THE SEASON

The market was decorated in holiday trim. I took this pic at the entrance. Women were lined up waiting to get in.
It’s that time of year again, ready or not the holiday season has arrived. To help me kick off the holidays, I went to Houston’s annual Nutcracker Market. I have not gone before, but had heard about it. This market appears to be for women who love shopping, and women who love to discover treasures from around the country. You can purchase items particularly for Christmas, or just shop for yourself. I found a few items for me of course!

I wore a vintage St. John knit and leather jacket, faux leather skirt and top from Chico’s and flat leather boots for walking.

Sarah Oliver from California had the cutest handbags I’d ever seen.

The fabrics are hand knitted by the elderly. Sarah Oliver boils the knits and designs the handbags; part of the proceeds go back to them.

These purses come in all these rich beautiful colors, and you can choose from broaches to customize your bag.

I found this cute rabbit fur purse accessory.

This adds fun and sparkle to any bag or keys

I absolutely love a good pair of leather gloves; I saw these and had to have them!

These soft leather gloves are fabulously stylish
Hope everyone has a fashionably fabulous holiday season. Happy shopping, but try not to spend too much. Support Black businesses when you can.
