Silk Sensation

I call my kimono my silk sensation. Silk is the perfect textile for kimonos because it flows beautifully, and has a wonderful feel. I purchased this beautiful silk when I was in New York at the famous Mood Fabric store. The designers on Project Runway always go to Mood to create their ideas.

I added black fringe to the edges to add a dramatic flair. 

I chose to wear my silk sensation over a pair of black skinny pants and a black tank top. The elaborate necklace from Zara’s adds color.The silk kimono is perfect for a mimosa lunch with the girls.
