WHAT TO WEAR TO A PROTEST RALLY

We are seeing a resurgence of rallies happening more frequently in our country.  The rally cry is out in the Black community rallying around causes concerning the assignation of Black lives. We are seeing numerous rallies after the presidential election and around the new executive orders concerning immigration.

I feel really good about America paying attention and becoming more involved with shaping our democracy.

When attending rallies, I make sure that I wear comfortable clothing and maybe tee shirts that make a political statement. I’ve protested in my college days, and yet there is still work to be done. Dust off your boots and get your fist ready to pump to fight for our constitutional rights. You can also become active in neighborhood groups, get involved.  (I have included some nostalgic looks)
