African styled fashions can INSPIRE African Americans to have a sense of pride and admiration for our heritage. More and more Black folks are connecting to the beauty and feeling regal when they wear African clothing. The more we uncover history about the continent and the amazing accomplishments that was kept from us on purpose, the more we wear the fashions with a new found pride about ourselves.
Shape Community Center, a 50 year plus organization in Houston held a wonderful fundraiser highlighting black culture through the ages, that included our hair story.
