MEET THE CUBAN PEOPLE

This is me, I’m not Cuban but this is a Cuban blouse I brought back when I visited a couple of months ago.  Of course I picked up a few fashion items (dresses, hat, tops, leather goods, art, jewelry, rum, and cigars).  They have tons of fashion made of light weight cotton.  This post focuses on the people of Cuba. As a woman of substance, I’m taking more opportunities to travel and take in other cultures of all kinds of people.

I took as many pictures as I could to get a glimpse of average Cuban people.  I caught them in their daily activities to get an idea of life in Cuba.  Everyone appeared very friendly, and some asked for money because they new I was American. The People To People Connection is one of the ways to see Cuba, and we had the opportunity to experience their culture up close and personal.

I fell in love with the island and its people.  If you get a chance, check out Cuba.  They are our brothers and sisters who long to interact with us.

My sister and I visited a school and donated school supplies.
